Sad state of affairs. Really makes you wonder about your job and why you do what you do. The truth is that people in advertising/marketing are expected to do a good job regardless of the product or program they are peddling. And it's their necks regardless.

This kind of thing is not new. But marketing something like this will never really take off, no matter how good the creative. The value proposition falls flat in the end and could even have negative reciprocal value...if the funnel gets flipped.
